I recently took possession of the upstairs portion of Silver Bow Studio building.  I am so excited to have this additional space to extend my program and create more fulfilling experiences for children and parents!

To start off, I am looking to put on several workshops called WITH YOUR HANDS. The first in this series of workshops will be on how to make BEESWAX WRAPs!   In addition to the opportunity to gather together and learn new eco-friendly skills, this particular workshop is also a fundraiser for Tree of Life Nature Playschool.  Moving into a new building and expanding my child care space has brought on MANY unexpected costs.  The latest is the installation of emergency lights specifically for licensed childcare spaces, as well as purchasing air filters. 

BEESWAX WRAPS WORKSHOP
 
Wednesday October 20, 7:00 to 8:30pm

Learn to make your own beeswax wraps (great for your child's lunch kit!)

Bring an iron, all other supplies included

Take home approximately 5 wraps, and the knowledge to make more!

​Cost: $50 (to help raise funds for Tree of Life Nature Playschool)​

 
​Even if you have made bees wax wraps please consider coming as this will be a nice social time where you can also “refresh” your old wraps and talk about other simple everyday sustainable practices.  If you cannot join the workshop consider sending a $50 donation.  This donation will come with a delivery of supplies and instructions on how to make wax wraps at home.
